Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were at church together in Hamburg they realized there was no going back. Ashley was just 17 and was never in any kind of relationship before, so she was very cautious about everything. But, it was that they fell in love right away. Andrew asked on New Year's Eve, right ahead of the beginning of the new year in 2016, praying that God would give him one last blessing in the year. Then, Ashley would marry him. Ashley wanted an elegant wedding with a theme of woodland. It was crucial to her that the day represented both Andrew as well as Ashley. Andrew and Ashley incorporated their most loved things for the wedding. The wedding venue was the back 40 acres of the land Ashley grew up on. Ashley played and explored all the land, including the paths they walked to get there. Andrew and Ashley had also walked this area several times since when they first started dating. The importance of personalization was that almost everything involved DIY from the bride and groom. Andrew Ashley's dad, Ashley and Ashley themselves created all of the decorations. Ashley also painted and created many decors. Ashley states that we could never have the amazing wedding I envisioned if the wedding hadn't been for Anna's beautiful floral designs. Truly stunning.
